2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by [name and address of hosting provider]. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page/file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This processing ensures the smooth operation and security of the website and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after no more than [7] days unless longer retention is required for evidence purposes (e.g. in the event of an attack).
3. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.
4. Cookies and consent management
Our website only uses technically necessary cookies, e.g. a session cookie of the Joomla content management system and a cookie storing your choice in the cookie banner. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Should we use non-essential cookies or external services in future, we will only do so with your consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future via the cookie banner or cookie settings.
5. Contact form, email and phone
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract (e.g. a table reservation), otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply. It is not passed on to third parties.
We only take reservations by phone. We note your name, number of guests, date/time and, if necessary, a call-back number, and delete this information after your visit.
6. Fonts
All fonts used on this website are hosted locally. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit the site.
7. External links (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap etc.)
We do not embed maps or other third-party content directly on our website. The “Directions” page only contains links to Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and OpenStreetMap. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the provider's website, where its privacy policy applies.
8. No analytics or tracking
We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) on this website.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
